Hi Johan!

What is your role at Mercur, and when did you start here?
I’m the Presales & Consultant Manager UK, and I started at Mercur in Gothenburg 2017. 

Why did you choose Mercur as your employer?
I missed the type of software that Mercur offered in my previous professional roles. I’ve worked as a Controller and in various analytical roles focused on finance, and the common denominator was that the work was very “Excel-heavy.” Because of that, I developed an interest in the market for BI tools.

The reason I chose Mercur specifically was the combination of their strong market offering and the company’s culture and atmosphere, which seemed great. Having previously worked in larger global organizations, I also found it exciting to join a smaller company.

Any highlight during your time at Mercur that you can share?
Cross-country skiing during our kick-off trips to Trysil is hard to beat! But also having the opportunity to set up a new office in Gothenburg was a highlight and an exciting challenge.
