Head of Business Development – UK Office

Hello Chris!

What is your role at Mercur and when did you start?

I am working as the Head of Business Development in the UK. I joined the company in August 2020 and at that point, we only had two employees in the UK office. It´s been great seeing the office grow as we've acquired more customers. I am looking forward to leading the Business Development team moving forward as we continue to grow the sales and marketing function in the UK.

Why did you choose Mercur as your employer?

It seemed like Mercur had a great team culture and environment as well as a large customer base across Europe. I was excited to join a start up in the UK with the opportunity to grow within the role with a company that had a secure base in Sweden.

What has been your best memory at Mercur so far?
One of the best memories so far is the kick-off in Trysil 2023 where I learned how to ski. Other than that, I have enjoyed seeing the UK business grow and take on more customers including the likes of Roadchef, Costain and Crystal Palace Football Club.
