Together the group is on a journey to build a unified and comprehensive SaaS platform for finance and performance management for the Office of the CFO across Europe, empowering finance and executive leaders with automation, compliance and actionable insights, supporting faster decision-making, enhanced governance and enterprise-wide visibility.
The group is headquartered in Stockholm, and offices across Sweden, Finland, Latvia, the UK, and Kenya.
Backed by Accel-KKR, a global technology-focused investment firm, the group has ambitious growth plans for the years ahead including both organic growth and M&A and is investing now in its finance organisation as it builds a platform for future growth.
Role summary 
The Head of FP&A reports to the Group CFO, and today has one direct report. The role is based in Stockholm and is hybrid, with office attendance at least three days per week and occasional travel to other group locations.
The Head of FP&A is responsible for leading the group’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial business partnering and analysis processes, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to drive business performance and support decision-making.
The business plans to go through a significant commercial transformation in the years ahead, meaning that is a vital strategic role to guide growth. This is a strategic and hands-on role for an experienced FP&A leader who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning. Develop robust financial models within the Mercur platform to support business strategy, M&A, and organic growth.
 - Management Reporting and Business Performance Analysis: Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance, including variance analysis, scenario modelling, and business case development.
 - SaaS Metrics & Reporting: Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track business performance, with a strong focus on SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, retention, LTV, CAC, payback period, and expansion revenue.
 - Strategic Partnering: Work closely with business leaders, CFO, and Head of Finance to support company-wide efficiency initiatives, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
 - Board & Investor Reporting: Prepare and present financial analysis and reports for the Board and private equity investors (Accel-KKR), supporting investor relations and fundraising activities.
 - M&A Support: Lead financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking for acquired companies.
 - Process Improvement: Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
 - Finance Systems: Partner with Head of Finance to develop and optimize finance systems for planning, reporting, and analytics.
 - Team Leadership: Build and inspire a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 
Key Attributes and Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in an FP&A leadership role, ideally in a SaaS or recurring revenue business with €50m+ annual revenue.
 - Bachelor’s degree (MBA or CFA preferred).
 - Proven ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly growing company.
 - Track record of using analysis and actionable recommendations to drive measurable business impact.
 - Exceptional financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills.
 - Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and business models.
 - Private equity experience preferred but not essential.
 - Experience building FP&A functions and processes from the ground up.
 - Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative approach.
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 - English and Swedish speaker
