How did you end up at Mercur?
I previously worked with system integration and was interested in business intelligence, while also having experience as an accounting assistant. Mercur turned out to be the perfect combination of what I had done before and what I wanted to do in the future.
What tasks do you find the most enjoyable?
Getting into customers' challenges, understanding their processes, and translating that into practical functionalities in Mercur Business Control.
Describe what a typical workday looks like.
I’m very organized when it comes to emails, so I start by sorting through incoming messages. I review what needs immediate attention and what can wait until later in the week. After that, I tackle a few items from my to-do list, perhaps brainstorming with a colleague. On some days, I accompany a salesperson to meet potential customers. In these meetings, I act as the product specialist, answering technical questions and demonstrating how Mercur can be applied to their business. I also estimate time for new projects, send improvement suggestions to our development team, build prototypes, and give presentations. As you can tell, it’s a very varied role!
